From forest to fuel - delivering clean, green, heat
In a world of dwindling resources and volatile fuel costs, many of us are considering alternative ways of heating our homes, offices and workplaces. Biomass, in the form of wood pellets or wood chips may offer a timely and convenient solution.
Duffield Wood Pellets manufacture and supply premium quality wood pellets produced from sawmill co-products and virgin timber at our purpose built plant in Melmerby, North Yorkshire. These are a highly calorific, renewable fuel which can be burned with very high efficiency in a range of suitable equipment. They represent a viable and sustainable alternative to traditional fossil fuels.
We also supply high energy, kiln dried, wood chips, sourced from our sister company,
Duffield Timber.
